Random Poem With Out A Name

In my creative writing class we are talking about poems so poems have been on my mind. Last night I didn't fall a sleep right away for whatever reason and a random poem popped in my head. I didn't want to forget it so I wrote it down in my handy leather journal. I just thought I would share it with you all, just for fun.


The restless mind is an oceans waves
Rising and falling in a rhythm all their own

Beating in time with your heart
Lubbing and dubbing kicking in your chest

Soothing waves like silk on skin
Calming thoughts are now within
