Jesus's Birthday

I love Christmas! I'm sad that it is officially over but it was a good one! It's great to be able to spend time with your family and friends. Christmas is such a great reminder of why we are all put here on this earth. At this time of year we remember when Jesus came to earth as a baby and how he gave up himself for us! It's such a great story and lesson. I feel blessed to have a wonderful Christian family who reads that story every year so we don't loose sight of what it's all about.

We were able to Skype with Laura, Damon, and Dozer Christmas Eve which was awesome. It was Forrest's first Christmas. He's only 4 months so that's a little small to be able to open presents but he loved how the paper tasted! It was equally as fun to spend time with my family Christmas morning and then at Grandma Strong's that night. I love her potato soup! It's seriously so good... my mouth is watering just thinking about it. It was also Noah's first Christmas! He slept through most of it though. The highlight of the night was that we all got Under armor hoodies and posed for a really cute picture by the Christmas tree.
