The first month of my first college semester came to a close. It's been really fun so far! I've gotten into a good, well balanced routine. I have realized that I stay up a lot later now. I used to go to bed at 9:30, 10:00 at the latest. Now I am lucky if I'm laying in bed by 11:30. The time change has been weird too. I was just really settling into Indy time when I went home for labor day. I can't decide which time I like better but its annoying that they are even different at all. The state should be on the same time all the time... just saying.
I'm loving all the different types of people here too! It's really interesting. I've also been spending a lot of time at the Nat. (pool). I knew I would. I'm going to look into getting a job there. I have a job interview this week. However, I'm not sure its going to be what I want, or what will work for me. I do miss having a job and i'm anxious to get one here on campus. Tonight a couple of girl friends and I went job interview outfit shopping. It was great getting out with girl friends again! Having a boyfriend and regular friend balance is always kind of tough (especially with him being so close) but we've been doing a really good job of it so far!
I've been working really hard on my four year plan these past couple days and I've finally finished it. I am on track to finish a semester early including summers. I really pondered about summer classes (not saying anything is set in stone) but I like the idea of them. If I keep going with out extended breaks then I will be less likely to forget stuff like MATH! When I'm done I will have a major in TCEM and a minor in creative writing. Creative writing is more of what I want to do than journalism. I figured that one out real fast.
I have to get back to getting my school work done. Thanks for reading and I promise there will be more to come!
